Step 1. Add your website.
If you haven’t completed this already, you can add your website from your Conversion Wax homepage. Simply click on “Add Website” on the right-hand side of the page, and enter your URL.
Step 2. Add your Assets.
Assets are the all of the Images and Videos that make up your banners.
From the Conversion Wax dashboard, select “Manage Images & Videos”.
Click “Upload Asset” on the right side of the page
Drag your assets into the box or click the box to upload multiple items at once.
Top Tip! You will likely have multiple image sizes for desktop, mobile, and tablet. Upload them all. If you miss one you can also upload from the create banner screen.
Step 3. Create a banner
Banners are the foundation of all scheduled and dynamic content. You will likely want to create multiple banners based on your assets.
From the Conversion Wax dashboard, select "Manage Banners".
Click "Add Banner" button in the top right.
Choose a banner name, for example "Summer Sale 2024".
Select the relevant assets for different screen sizes.
"Event Link" - enter the destination URL you are sending your user to when they click on this banner.
"On-Click Event Name" - choose a name so you can easily track the click-through success of the banner. For example: summer-sale-2024-homepage.
You have the option to A/B test your banners – simply check the “A/B Testing” box and select a second set of assets for your banner.
Don’t forget to hit save!
Step 4: Add Content
Content is the collection of banners that will be displayed on your site. It is where you can target locations or set url variables to target the banner for what you want your website guest to see. You may schedule when you want your banner to display if desired.
From the Conversion Wax dashboard, select "Manage Content".
Click the "Add Content" button in the top right.
You can choose either "Static Banner" or "Slide Show"
Static Banner
A Static Banner is a content type that will only display one banner. That peice of content will likely contain multiple banners depending on your targeting restrictions.
Select the Banner
Location Restriction - If you are using location targeting select the location(s) you that the banner will display.

This step is optionalURL Variables - If you are using url variables to show specific banners you can add that there.
This step is optionalTo add additional banners click the "Add additional banners link" and repeat the previous steps for each additional banner.
Top Tip! If you are using either Location Restriction or URL Variables it is a good idea to create a default banner with no restrictions for anyone who does not meet the requirements to see a targeted banner.
Slide Show
A Slide Show is a collection of static banners. It will animate through each slide in the order you set.
Add a banner to Slide 1. Use the same steps from Static Banner above.
To add another Slide click the "+" button next to the tab labeled "Slide 1"
Top Tip! Each banner in a slide show has its own restrictions. If a slide does not have a viewable banner, based on those restriction, the slide will not .
Step 5: Publish
You are now ready to publish – or schedule – your new content. When you select the orange “Publish” button, you will see a Publish Plan pop-up.
If you are ready to publish now, simply select a time zone and hit “Publish now”.
If you want to schedule your content, choose a time zone and select a future date and time in the “Enter Publish Time” box.

Step 6: Get your code
The final step is to get your code ready to input into your CMS. You will now see a green “Get Code” button by your content. Hit the button, and your code will be ready to copy.
Step 7: Add your code to your CMS platform
Adding your content code is really simple. You can copy the HTML code from Conversion Wax into your CMS platform where you’d like your content to appear. Choose to replace an existing image, or create a new banner – the choice is yours.
Step 8: Track your conversions
You can track clicks (conversions) easily via your Conversion Wax dashboard. Simply login and select your chosen Content to review it’s performance and make any changes.
Congratulations! You’ve completed your first Content.
You can review and edit your assets at any time in your dashboard.
