Welcome to Conversion Wax
This guide covers everything you need to get started on your journey to increased conversions and enhanced customer experience.
Conversion Wax is designed to boost your conversion rates by scheduling content updates and allowing you to personalize your pages with location-specific imagery. You can set-up A/B testing, view performance statistics and manage multiple sites easily from your Dashboard.

Step 1. Add your website.
If you haven’t completed this already, you can add your website from your Conversion Wax homepage. Simply click on “Add Website” on the right-hand side of the page, and enter your URL.
####Step 2. Add your assets.
To schedule content or add dynamic imagery – you need to upload your original assets.
From your website dashboard, select “Manage Images & Videos”.
Click “Upload Asset” on the right-side of the page and select as many assets as you like.
Top Tip! If you have multiple image sizes for desktop, mobile and tablet – great! Upload them all. If not, don’t worry – Conversion Wax will automatically choose the best size image available for your user depending on their device type, it can even re-size images on display.
Step 3. Create a banner
Banners are the foundation of all scheduled and dynamic content. You will likely want to create multiple banners based on your assets.
- From the Conversion Wax dashboard, select “Manage Banners”.
- Choose a banner name, for example Summer Sale 2024 and you can then select the relevant assets.
- “Event Link” - enter the destination URL you are sending your user to when they click on this banner.
- On-Click Event Name” - choose a name so you can easily track the click-through success of the banner. For example: summer-sale-2024-homepage-banner-desktop.
You also have the option to A/B test your banners – simply check the “A/B Testing” box and select a second set of assets for your banner.
Don’t forget to hit save!
Step 4: Add Content
If you are adding a single image or video banner to your website, simply hit “Add content” and select your chosen banner or video. You do not need to enter any additional information - just hit save.
If you are looking to create dynamic versions of your banner, with geographical parameters, follow the below steps.
Top Tip! Location-based content is a great way to enhance personalization within your website. Run holiday banners for dedicated countries, or showcase your product in different geographical environments.

From your dashboard, select “Manage Content”.
For new content, you will need to enter a name. Then, choose the banner(s) you want to work with by clicking “Select”. -
Location Restriction – select the location(s) you want your banner to be shown. You can be super specific here and choose Country, Region and even City. You can also choose multiple locations in different countries.

URL Variables – here you can set-up exclusion URLs for those pages you do not want to include. For example, location or interest-specific landing pages.
Select “Add New Tags” and choose a name for your excluded URL, then add the link into the “Value” box. Then hit save.
This step is optional -
Once you have chosen your content options – SAVE. You have an opportunity here to write any version notes for your own reference.

Add additional banners - under your existing banner choice there is a button to “Add additional banners”.
Repeat steps 1-4 above for each banner version, adding the relevant location parameters and any URL variables.
Step 5: Publish
You are now ready to publish – or schedule – your new content. When you select the orange “Publish” button, you will see a Publish Plan pop-up.
If you are ready to publish now, simply select a time zone and hit “Publish now”.
If you want to schedule your content, choose a time zone and select a future date and time in the “Enter Publish Time” box.

Step 6: Get your code
The final step is to get your code ready to input into your CMS. You will now see a green “Get Code” button by your content. Hit the button, and your code will be ready to copy.
Step 7:Add your code to your CMS platform
Adding your content code is really simple. You can copy the HTML code from Conversion Wax into your CMS platform where you’d like your content to appear. Choose to replace an existing image, or create a new banner – the choice is yours.
Step 8: Track your conversions
You can track clicks (conversions) easily via your Conversion Wax dashboard.Simply login and select your chosen Content to review it’s performance and make any changes.
Congratulations! You’ve completed your first Content.
You can review and edit your assets at any time in your dashboard.
